Sizing is important and we want to be sure you love the way your Wild Olive tee looks and feels. We’ve added a sizing chart to each product page that is specific to each shirt. Width measurements are made across the chest and length measurements are made from shoulder to hem.
Our women’s shirts are fitted and typically run on the snug side. If you’re in doubt on sizing and prefer a little wiggle room, order a size up.
Below, Victoria (who is 5’5″ and weighs 125) is wearing the women’s Salt and Light in a size M. She wears a S or M in most t-shirts and chose the M in this shirt. In the unisex shirt options, Victoria wears a XS (available in the Salt and Light Hoody and Mercy Triumphs Baseball shirt).
Our unisex/men’s shirts are not fitted and typically run true to size if not a little generous.
Here is a side-by-side of Victoria (who is 5’5″ and weighs 125) – wearing the Mercy Triumphs Unisex Baseball in XS on the left and the Mercy Triumphs Women’s in M on the right.
A general rule of thumb is that there are two sizes between Women’s sizes and Unisex sizes: if you wear a L in the women’s shirts, you’ll probably wear a S in the Unisex size.
Below, Dalton (who is 5’9″ and weighs 175) is wearing the unisex Uttermost in a size M. He typically wears a size M in t-shirts and found the M to be just right.
Our youth shirts are both fitted and unisex – and, similar to the adult versions, the fitted youth shirts run on the snug side and the unisex youth shirts are more generously sized.
Here is a side-by-side of two of my girls who are very similarly sized – they share clothes and wear a 5/6 in almost everything. Poppy, on the left, is wearing a fitted Hallelujah in a size 6/6x and Tallula, on the right, is wearing a unisex Salt and Light in a size 4/5.
Again, each product page has it’s own sizing chart specific to that shirt to help you best determine the shirt for you. We hope you feel equipped with all the information you need to select the best size but if you have additional questions, feel free to reach out to us at hello@wildolivetees.com and we’ll do our best to help!
