+ Is my payment safe?
Our website is secured by an SSL certificate, which provides security for online communications. When your browser contacts our website, the SSL certificate enables an encrypted connection, which is kind of like taping up a package before sending it through the mail.
All payments go through PayPal which means none of your payment information is gathered or stored by us. We chose this method of payment specifically for ease and safety, since PayPal is one of the most trusted forms of payment anywhere.
+ How much is shipping?
Purchases of more than 2 tees qualify for free shipping to US addresses. Yay! We also try to send out free shipping fun on a regular basis, so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter here. For one shirt, shipping rates are charged as 10% of your purchase.
+ What is your shipping policy?
Once your order is received, you will receive an email confirming your purchase. Orders ship within 2-4 business days and as soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email notifying you of the shipment, along with an attached invoice. We do not include invoices with our orders so if you’d like a copy of your invoice be sure to print one out from your shipping confirmation email. Most of our orders are shipped USPS First Class with Delivery Confirmation, so tracking numbers only provide us with the date your order shipped and the date it was delivered. Orders over a pound are shipped USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation.
+ Do you ship internationally?
We do, sort of. To Canada and the UK only, via USPS First Class International. Tracking is not available on this method of shipment but we have had no issues to date with lost or missing packages. It just requires a little extra dose of patience as packages do take a bit more time to arrive.
+ How are your shirts sized?
Because we want you to LOVE the way your Wild Olive tee looks and feels, we’ve included a sizing chart on each product page. Additionally, we’ve created a Sizing page that gives a few more specifics on sizing if you need more help. (In a nutshell, if in doubt with the fitted shirts (women’s or kids’), order a size up – all our unisex shirts run pretty true-to-size.) If, after visiting our sizing page, you still need help with sizing, please contact us here. We’re glad to help.
+ Where did your women’s “classic” shirts go?
No where – we’ve still got them! They just have a new name. Our old women’s classics are now called unisex and are exactly the same – same shirts, same sizing. We just wanted to make them available for men and women. And for our shirts that are decidedly feminine – like In the Beginning and Hallelujah – classic sizing is available.
+ Are your tees manufactured in other countries by forced or child labor?
Absolutely not. The majority of our products are manufactured by Next Level Apparel, which is committed to a code of conduct for manufacturers to, among other things, not support or endorse child labor or involuntary labor. To learn more, visit here. Several of our toddler shirts are manufactured by LAT Apparel, which is socially responsible as well. You can read more here. All of our graphics, as well as the rest of our tees – manufactured by American Apparel – are made in the good ol’ USA.
+ How do I care for my tee? Will it shrink when I wash it?
Wash your tee in cold water and tumble dry low before wearing. Shrinkage is very minimal – if at all – with the first washing. All our tees have been tested rigorously by us at Wild Olive and hold up to washing and wearing remarkably well. So don’t feel like you have to baby your Wild Olive tee for it to keep looking great.
+ What if I need to make a return or exchange?
We love our shirts and we want to be sure you love yours too! Returns and exchanges are free and welcomed – just contact us at here and we’ll get busy getting you fixed up. Please be sure to contact us before returning your shirt, otherwise we won’t have all the info we need to get it just right and your return might get missed if we’re not expecting it. Any item returned or exchanged must be in its original condition, pretty please. Returns will be refunded as the purchase price minus shipping – as much as we would love to, we can’t reimburse for shipping.
+ What if there is a flaw in my tee?
If you need to exchange your shirt due to a flaw, please let us know right away. While they are not common, defects do occur and we want your shirt to be just right. Once you’ve contacted us and we have your info, we’ll ship you out a brand new tee with a pre-paid mailer included for you to send back the flawed tee – and not be out any donuts.
+ Where to you get your designs?
All of our designs are absolutely unique – you’ll never be able to find a shirt just like ours anywhere else! We have an in-house graphic designer (also my biggest girl and fine arts major) who creates designs specifically for Wild Olive. Our designs include hand lettering, unique details and one-of-a-kind touches… we love ’em and hope you do too.
+ Does Wild Olive have shirts for men?
We do! All of our unisex shirts are unisex/men’s fit and should fit your guy just like any other t-shirt – we have tried our best to have sizing and design options for the entire family. We offer sizing from 2T all the way to a 2XL unisex fit… with many, many sizes in between.
+ Why the name ‘Wild Olive’?
Our name comes from Romans 11:17, “But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree, some of the Jews, have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, were grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and His children, sharing in God’s rich nourishment of His special olive tree.” This verse reminds us of God’s mercy, goodness and unconditional love. And how He provides for us, drawing us to Himself and calling us His own. Wild Olive reminds us that, although we were once separated from Him, as believers we are now part of His glorious family – sons and daughters of the King.
+ How did you get started?
Wild Olive began in 2004 with a dream. Literally. It took a while for that dream to grow into reality but, thankfully, God’s plans come to pass despite His sometimes fearful and wayward children. Wild Olive officially launched in 2008 and enjoyed surprising success for a couple of never-done-this, stay-at-home-mamas. In early 2014, we began a three-year hiatus to reorganize and reflect on what exactly God wanted from Wild Olive and opened again in late 2016 with the same passion and focus of that first dream, to help others to wear and share God’s word.
+ Do your designs change?
Yes. We love coming up with new designs which means older designs eventually have to go. So if you see something you love, don’t wait… buy it. It might be gone the next time you come visit!
